About Your Hosts – Debbie & Terry
Home is something Debbie and Terry create wherever they go.
Originally from England, they’ve lived all over the world – Cyprus, Australia, France, the United States – collecting memories, stories, and quirky treasures along the way. Every ornament on a shelf, every framed photo, every little trinket has a past life and a passport stamp.
What started as a love of renovating old spaces slowly became a passion project:
turning forgotten buildings into warm, welcoming homes filled with character.
When they found this 400-year-old stone cottage in the French countryside, they instantly saw its potential. With patience (and more than a few dust-covered days), they restored it lovingly – keeping the original charm while adding modern comforts.
Debbie is the heart of hospitality… She loves cooking for guests and experimenting with flavours from around the world. Her famous paella is a tradition among friends, and evenings often end around the outdoor wood-fired pizza oven, with good wine, good conversation, and the smell of dough crisping in the air.
Terry is the maker and the problem solver – the one who sees what could be, rather than what is. From the reclaimed beams to the handmade garden touches, his craftsmanship is in every corner of the property.
Together, they believe that travel should feel like coming home.
“We don’t just offer a place to stay – we share a place that’s been built with stories, memories, and love.”
— Debbie & Terry
